Big River Momma was inspired by the many women performers up and down the rivers and bayous of Louisiana. “She is a very strong woman who produces big sounds from her piano and her voice. She has the river running through her music as well as her soul,” says artist Paul Schexnayder.
Schexnayder has galleries in New Iberia, Lafayette (Jefferson St. Market) and work in the Cajun History Gallery in Henderson. He is represented by the Buchanan Gallery in Galveston, Texas.
