The Greater Baton Rouge State Fair
Thursday, October 23, 2014 - Sunday, November 02, 2014
The Baton Rouge State Fair pulls out all the stops each year with rides galore in the Carnival Midway and live music nightly, featuring gospel, rock, bluegrass, blues, and zydeco. Clowns and magicians amble about while fair-goers feed on delicious fair food. The Farm Experience provides cow-milking, chicken-hatching, and animal-petting opportunities. Junior beef, dairy, and goat shows also add to the agricultural theme. It's a Baton Rouge tradition at the Airline Highway Park and Fairgrounds, 17200 Airline Highway. gbrsf.com for details.
